Overview

TurtleTracks is designed to help families coordinate responsibilities without advertising or behavioral tracking. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you.

Information you add

TurtleTracks stores the information you choose to enter, such as family member names, tasks, schedules, points, rewards, privileges, rooms, inspections, events, and app settings. By default, this information is stored locally on your device.

How information is used

The app uses this information to provide the features you request. Turtle's Edge does not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use third-party analytics to track your family.

iCloud sync (optional)

TurtleTracks offers optional paid sync features that store your family's data in iCloud. Turtle's Edge has no access to your iCloud data — it is stored in your iCloud account and handled under Apple's privacy policy. If you don't purchase a sync feature, your data stays on your device.

Personal Sync stores your data in your private iCloud container so it stays in sync across your own devices. Only you can access it, through your Apple ID.

Family Sharing stores your family's data in iCloud and shares it only with the people you invite. You control who is invited and what they can change, and you can remove a person's access at any time. Family members who can use the purchase through Apple Family Sharing still cannot see your data unless you invite them.

Purchases

Sync features are offered as in-app purchases and subscriptions processed by Apple. Turtle's Edge does not receive your name, payment card details, or billing address — Apple handles payment under its own terms and privacy policy. The app keeps a record of which features you have purchased on your device so it can unlock them, and subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID account settings.

Backups and exports

If you choose to create or export a backup, you control where that file is saved or shared. A storage provider you select, such as iCloud Drive, handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy.

Diagnostics and support

TurtleTracks does not automatically send diagnostic logs to Turtle's Edge. If you contact support, you may choose to share a description, screenshots, or exported diagnostic information. We use that information only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue.

Children's privacy

TurtleTracks is directed at parents and guardians, not at children. Any information about children in the app — such as names, tasks, or points — is provided and managed by a parent or guardian, who decides where it is stored and who it is shared with. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information, and we never use family data for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Your choices

You control the information entered into TurtleTracks. Local app data can be removed through the app's controls or by deleting the app. If you use iCloud sync, you can stop syncing at any time, and synced data can be removed through the app or your device's iCloud settings. Backup or export files saved elsewhere must be removed from the location where you chose to store them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
